You no longer need to rely on rules for restraint;When you don’t deliberately distinguish the opposition between beauty and ugliness,You won’t be misled by the external forms of things;When you don’t cling to the division between good and bad,You don’t have to seek support from deities.

The morning bell tells us to do what we ought to do;The evening drum tells us to let go of the past.

Act without being hindered or troubled,And your heart will clearly perceive all the appearances of all things in the world.
